🌱 Taman Devlog #3 — Crates.io Release and Community Launch
Welcome back to Taman, the Rust TUI Pomodoro app where your focus sessions literally grow plants! In Devlog #2, we shared the completion of the working prototype with real charts, themes, and plant growth. Now, we’re thrilled to announce that Taman has been published to crates.io, making it easy for anyone to install and try out!

🌿 Recap: Prototype to Release
In Devlog #2, we had:
- Fully functional timer with auto-run queue
- Emoji plant growth system
- Stats with bar and pie charts
- Themes and settings
- JSON persistence
Since then, we focused on polishing for release: fixing any remaining bugs, optimizing performance, and preparing documentation.
🚀 Crates.io Publication
Taman is now available on crates.io as taman (version 0.1.0)!
Installation is simple:
cargo install taman
taman
We’ve also updated the GitHub repository with installation instructions, screenshots, and full documentation. Check it out at https://crates.io/crates/taman.
